Clean Water for Rural Pakistan

Pakistan is the fifth most populous country in the world. With urbanization quickly on the rise and about one-third of the population already living in urban areas, the need for water, sanitation, and hygiene programs is greater than ever. Access to clean water and improved sanitation help lower disease, poverty, and conflicts throughout the world, leading to happier and healthier lives. Khuddam Education Trust is highly active in the provisioning of clean drinking water in remote water-scarce areas, by drilling along with solar systems and getting water supplied to homes in a number of villages through its water schemes.
